You can reach the island by car
By Car: The port of Piombino can be reached in few minutes going out from the highway Leghorn _Grosseto taking the junctions of St. Vincenzo or Venturina. The port of Leghorn from the highway Leghorn - Grosseto, exit Livorno.
You can reach the island by Train By Train: at the station of Campiglia Marittima on the Genoa/Rome line you can get the connection to the port of Piombino .From the station of Piombino Centre it takes only 3 minutes to get to Piombino Marittima. From the north the line of Genoa-Leghorn , you have to get off at the station in Leghorn centre ; from the south the line Rome-Genoa, get off in Leghorn centre.
